Child Safety Policy & Standards

Effective date: 1 January 2026 · Last updated: July 2026

IND RIL is committed to protecting minors and to providing a safe and respectful platform for all users, especially children and young people. These Child Safety Standards apply to the IND RIL mobile application and the IND RIL website (together, "IND RIL") and describe how IND RIL prevents, reports and responds to Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE).

1. Minimum Age

Users must meet the applicable minimum age. Accounts found to belong to underage users may be removed.

2. Zero Tolerance for Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation

IND RIL strictly prohibits Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE). This includes child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual exploitation, sexual abuse, sextortion, trafficking of children for sexual purposes, and any other conduct that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children.

We do not tolerate child sexual abuse material or any exploitation of minors, and we act on reports and cooperate with authorities as required by law.

3. Prohibited Content and Conduct

Users must not create, upload, post, share, request, distribute, or otherwise facilitate any content or activity involving Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) or CSAM on IND RIL.

Grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, trafficking, or any activity that puts children at risk is strictly prohibited.

4. How to Report a Child Safety Concern

In the IND RIL app: every video, photo, post, comment, story, chat and profile has a Report option — tap the menu or report icon on the content or profile, choose the child-safety reason and submit. Reports go directly to our safety review team.

On the web: anyone can report a child-safety concern at any time through our Support & Grievance page at https://indril.in/support — no login required.

By email: write directly to our Child Safety Point of Contact at childsafety@indril.in.

Parents and guardians may report on behalf of a child through any of these channels.

5. How IND RIL Handles CSAE/CSAM Reports

IND RIL takes reports and actual knowledge of suspected CSAM or CSAE seriously and takes appropriate action in accordance with these published standards, applicable law, and relevant legal requirements.

Review: every child-safety report is reviewed by our safety team on a priority basis.

Removal: content confirmed to involve CSAM or CSAE is removed immediately.

Account action: accounts involved in creating, sharing or facilitating CSAM or CSAE are restricted or permanently terminated.

Reporting to authorities: confirmed CSAM is reported to appropriate authorities as required by law, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline where applicable and the relevant Indian law-enforcement authorities under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

Cooperation: we cooperate with law-enforcement investigations and valid legal requests relating to child safety.

6. User Safety

IND RIL encourages users and parents/guardians to report suspected child-safety violations immediately. We cooperate with relevant authorities and take reasonable measures to protect children from abuse, exploitation, and harmful interactions on the platform.

7. Age and Account Safety

Users must provide accurate information and comply with IND RIL's age requirements. Accounts found to be involved in child exploitation, grooming, or other serious safety violations may be permanently suspended.

8. Compliance with Child Safety Laws

IND RIL complies with applicable child-safety laws and regulations, including the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 together with rules made under it. These published standards are consistent with IND RIL's declarations in the Google Play Console, including our content ratings and Child Safety Declaration.
